Ingredients

  • 2 large apples
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup distilled water

Instructions

  1. Core and dice the apples.
  2. Add the apples, strawberries, 1/4 cup distilled water and cinnamon to a blender; blend for 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture onto a Teflex sheet (or parchment-lined dehydrator tray) and place in a dehydrator.
  4. Dehydrate for 6–8 hours.
  5. Remove and flip the fruit.
  6. Dehydrate for another 4–6 hours until dry and pliable.

Tips & Variations

No dehydrator? Spread the purée thinly on parchment and bake at the lowest oven temperature (about 150°F/65°C) with the door ajar for 3–4 hours.
