Smoothies are great drinks to have before you start off your day. Instead of grabbing that morning cup of coffee, do consider a fantastic smoothie drink to help power your day. Consider these five smoothie recipes to help you get going. When making your shakes and smoothies, it does not matter what type of blender you currently have, what is important is knowing how to maximize the use of your appliance. It is a great idea to always cut up the fruits and vegetables you are adding in the machine before you blend. There isn’t really a need to “dice” or make fancy cuts but the key is to get the pieces small enough instead of adding big chunks or whole fruits and vegetables. This allows for better consistency in your smoothies. If you already have one of those strong, high quality blenders (that often cost hundreds of dollars) you are lucky as you are able to blend up everything smoothly. If your blender is below average, your smoothie may not be so smooth and this affects your recipe and enjoyment. You may also need to peel off the skin of some ingredients to truly get the consistency that you want.
If you are not yet in a possession of a blender, please check out this post before you do your shopping for new blenders.
